Since my first film SLR camera the Nikon 6006 to what I currently have now the Nikon D200, photography has been a hobby for me. Often time, taking picture of places I’ve visited, things I see, or even to capture the moment.
My current setup consisted of:
- Nikon D200 w/MB-200 battery base
- Nikon SB-600 & SB-800 Flahes
- Nikon 12-24mm F4 DX Lens
- Nikon 70-200mm VR-II Zoom Lens
- Nikon 50mm F1.4 Lens
- Tamron 28-75 2.8 Di-II Lens

Nikon 50mm f/1.4D AF Nikkor
A few weeks before going to Disneyland, I was pondering which lens to bring along. I needed something light and flexible. The Tamron 28-75 2.8 Di lens I have is great, but often time indoor shots require a flash, which is a pain to have on the camera while walking around Disneyland. After reading a [...]

Nikon 70-200 f/2.8 VR
Mention in my previous post on the 80-200 2.8 AF-D, I was curious on the performance of the 70-200 2.8 VR and decided to try it out. I went back to Samy’s Camera and exchange my one week old 80-200 2.8 AF-D for the sparkling new 70-200 2.8 VR lens by Nikon, Nikkor lens as [...]

Nikkor 80-200mm ED 2.8 AF-D

The lens is a bit shorter than the latest generation 70-200 2.8 VR. It [...]

Here is a shot I took from there. The original shot was done in color using RAW format. [...]

Masking With Photoshop…
A few weeks ago, I attended a wedding of one of my friend. It was a very interesting wedding and I have to say, one of the more fun one I’ve been to. I had taken two separated pictures and did a little photoshop masking (merging of photo) for the fun of it and see [...]
